In the first quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing market in Guatemala saw varied performance across the top applications, as revealed by Sensor Tower's data.

inDrive. Save on city rides from SUOL INNOVATIONS LTD experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 23K in early February before tapering off to around 17K by the end of March. Meanwhile, active users steadily increased from 196K in January to over 254K by the end of the quarter.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting from about 8.9K at the beginning of the quarter and dropping to around 3.6K by the end of March. However, its active user base initially grew, reaching a peak of approximately 114K in late February, before declining to about 75K at the quarter's close.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a relatively stable download rate, hovering around 6.5K weekly. The app's active users saw an initial rise to a peak of 377K in March, followed by a decrease to 262K by the quarter's end.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had fluctuating download numbers, with a notable increase to 1.5K in late March. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, starting at 39K and reaching nearly 50K by the end of March.

Lastly, Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a sharp drop in downloads from 5.5K at the beginning of the quarter to just over 100 by March. Its active user count also decreased, dropping from 10K to around 3.5K.
